UCF and the Center for Distributed Learning are here to assist you and your students with Webcourses@UCF, Zoom, and Panopto. Please see the following resources we have curated for faculty using these platforms no matter your course modality

UCF Financial Aid Requirement 

Webcourses@UCF and Simple Syllabus 

  • As a reminder, all faculty are required to post their syllabus in their Webcourses@UCF section using Simple Syllabusby the first day of the session. Learn more about Simple Syllabus and UCF Policy 4-403

Webcourses@UCF Reminders 

  • Combine courses using the Faculty Webcourse Manager before students have access, otherwise course materials and student submissions will be lost. If you need to combine courses after the first day of the semester, please contact Webcourses@UCF Support. 
  • Notification Settings. Check your Webcourses@UCF Notification Settings to ensure they are the way you want them to be for Fall 2024. Faculty Notifications Setting Guide

  • Exam Proctoring information is available for Respondus Monitor and Respondus Lockdown Browser. 
  • Contact Webcourses@UCF Support if you have questions or need assistance. 
  • Webcourses@UCF Maintenance Window Access may be limited during the regularly scheduled Maintenance Window on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 12:05am to 2:05am ET. Use https://status.ucf.edu/ to check operational system status of Webcourses@UCF and the campus network. 
  • New! There was a redesign to the Discussions/Announcement tool. Check out the new features by exploring the Discussions/Announcement Redesign Instructor Guide.
  • New! Leganto has been added to Webcourses@UCF by the UCF Libraries. Learn more about Leganto.
  • New! You can now find access to mental health support services from within Webcourses@UCF! In the leftmost navigation is a Heart icon for Well-Being resources. 

Campus Resources

  • The Webcourses@UCF Support team assists students, faculty, and staff with technical issues related to online learning at UCF, including Webcourses@UCF, Panopto, Materia, Obojobo, and Personalized Adaptive Learning. With hours Monday to Sunday, Support is available by phone, email, live chat, and an online form.
  • The Faculty Multimedia Center (FMC) is open by appointment to assist faculty with multimedia learning and media production content creation. 
  • UCF Integrity Line. If you believe you have experienced abusive or discriminatory behavior by any faculty or staff member, contact the UCF Integrity Line.
