Faculty Multimedia Center Team

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television Production from the University of Central Florida. From 2014 until 2022 Dylan was the Operations Manager for the Broadcast Production Facility at the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at UCF. He now manages the Faculty Multimedia Center at UCF, a space designed to empower and train faculty on how to use innovative technology and media in their courses.

Douglas Nevel is a professional media expert who came to UCF after many years in commercial Radio/Television broadcasting and production. After serving in the USAF’s American Forces Radio & Television Service he continued his broadcasting career including 15 years at Orlando’s Cox Radio and Television outlets. He has extensive experience in promotions, advertising, and media events as well as audio/video production and management.

Karen Tinsley-Kim is an Instructional Technology Specialist who leads CDL’s reactive Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) multimedia accessibility support for Webcourses@UCF in partnership with Student Accessibility Services (SAS). She applies digital accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Invitational Design to help instructors create effective, welcoming online learning experiences. At CDL since 2012, she proposed the original idea for UDOIT and helped secure a Canvas grant that advanced the tool; she is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and holds a B.S. in Studio Art from Florida State University and an M.A. in TESOL from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
