The Required Components of the Syllabus policy states that “a statement regarding emergency procedures and campus safety, encouraging students to be aware of their surroundings and familiar with actions to take in various types of emergencies,” must be included in the syllabus. 

There are two versions of the campus safety statement posted on the FCTL Syllabus page: one for face-to-face and mixed-mode classes, and one for fully online. The statements can be copied and pasted in your syllabus, depending on the course modality.
