[ONGOING] Webcourses@UCF (Canvas) Service Interruption Due to AWS Incident

What’s Happening:
At 3:11 AM EDT on Monday, October 20, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began experiencing service interruptions. This issue is still ongoing. As a result, Webcourses@UCF (Canvas) and integrated applications may remain unavailable or run slowly.

Users may encounter:

  • Complete loss of service
  • Slowness or latency when accessing course content and integrated tools

Our vendor continues to await full recovery as AWS works to resolve the issue.
