All Canvas + Impact users have an improved user experience consisting of fewer steps and a more streamlined workflow with Impact inside of Canvas. Studio Administrators will gain a clearer understanding of faculty’s video content usage. Catalog Admininstrators can customize brand colors, logos, and header images to ensure their online marketplace blends seamlessly with their university brand, leading to improved conversion of prospective students. Sub-account level Administrators will have a holistic view over their teachers and students media usage. All Catalog data will be accessible from CD2 (Canvas Data 2). Customers can preview and test new Admin Analytics features in their beta environment Offline support allows users to access the Canvas Mobile app and use its core functions at any time, regardless of their internet connection. New functionality in Discussions Redesign gives users flexible viewing options for discussion threads. Screen-narrated student submissions in the Speedgrader will ensure improved and more efficient communication between teachers and students. Students engage in deeper, more meaningful discussion with classmates with clear checkpoints to guide their way. Users receive timely notifications about soon-to-be expired or revoked badges. Human Captioning integration in Studio will empower teachers to provide captions for their videos that complies with all accessibility standards and supports an inclusive learning experience for students. Enhanced grading capabilities in New Quizzes will allow educators to enable anonymous grading, reducing the perception of bias in the classroom. Expanded API endpoints enable administrators to download quiz data comprehensively, facilitating custom reports and supporting learning outcomes analysis. When Instructors share item banks they can now align outcomes tied to sub-accounts to the questions within. Administrators can easily download data via CSV for a comprehensive look at quiz effectiveness, allowing them to use the data as needed to create custom reports and support learning outcomes. Educators will be able to embed shared quizzes in course media, saving effort and increasing student learning goals. Expanded API endpoints enable administrators to download quiz data comprehensively, facilitating custom reports and supporting learning outcomes analysis. The New Quizzes submissions API will enable instructors and administrators to submit student quiz attempts and retrieve student test submission data to enhance reporting and inform learning outcomes. API enhancements enable administrators and instructors to customize test-taking accommodations in New Quizzes, adapting to varying levels of student needs and enhancing testing experiences. Instructors will be able to manage results visibility settings within a New Quiz, streamlining feedback and instructional quality for students. Instructors will be able to share New Quizzes content both within and outside of their organization by use of a common cartridge file to foster greater collaboration. Instructors can use detailed student analysis reports to gain deeper insights into student understanding and activity on quizzes. Instructors will be able to provide just-in-time accommodations of additional time for students, ensuring equitable access in the quizzing process. Instructors will be able to share New Quizzes in Canvas Commons, empowering them to better collaborate and save time on content curation. The ability to download all student submissions for a question at once will enable Instructors to save time when manually grading file upload question types in New Quizzes. New Quizzes will now allow instructors to gather anonymous student feedback, to collect insights and improve the learning experience. Instructors are able to provide students additional context with standalone text or prompts that are not tied to questions on a New Quiz. Beta: Canvas-wide semantic search to simplify finding course materials on contextually relevant subjects using natural language. Beta: AI writing coach, Khanmigo, in partnership with Khan Academy to deliver human-driven, technology-enhanced essay feedback and grading, lesson planning and rubric creation.
