Accelerated Courses for Students

Accelerated courses are a non-traditional approach that gives you the freedom to earn your college degree your way. At the University of Central Florida, this acceleration may be online or face-to-face, but they offer condensed courses in 3-, 4-, 6-, 7-, 8-, and 10-week formats. This can provide additional choices for your college career while balancing work, home, school, and other life responsibilities.

Regardless of modality, accelerated courses must meet the academic equivalent as traditional semester courses. The amount of coursework will be the same as in traditional semester courses, although the activities may be altered to better reflect the accelerated course design. These courses are highly intensive, so make sure you can devote the increased time and energy they will demand to be successful.
