Faculty interested in using Panopto during the Spring 2024 semester or beyond, the Faculty Multimedia Center at UCF has 1-hour live/virtual orientations scheduled in December and January.  Attending one of these orientations or completing the Panopto Essentials online course is required to use the Panopto platform here at UCF.  These courses are designed to familiarize the attendee with the platform to smooth out usage later on.

Just a few of the Panopto features you may be interested in are:

  • Detailed analytics on student usage of your videos.
  • Basic video editing and audio normalization.
  • Multi-language auto transcripts and editing.
  • Easy video assignments for your students that go directly to SpeedGrader.
  • Private video storage folders for each instructor.
  • Webcasting.
  • Video quizzes & more!

Panopto orientations for UCF instructors are scheduled in person at The Faculty Multimedia Center located in Classroom Building One – Room 202.  These will also be available “virtually” via Zoom. “Question and Answer” sessions will follow each orientation.
Please be prompt as you must attend the entire hour to receive credit!  The orientation dates and times are below.
