Please review these essential tips and deadlines to ensure your courses are ready for day one. Semester Start-Up Guide Create Your Course: Don’t wait! Use the Faculty Webcourse Manager (FWM) to create your sections now. If your course isn’t listed in the FWM, please contact your department scheduler immediately. Combine Sections: You can combine sections via the FWM until the day before classes begin. Note: Once students have access, you cannot combine sections yourself; you must reach out to Webcourses@UCF Support. Uncombining sections requires Webcourses@UCF Support and will remove access to student data and grades. Post your Simple Syllabus. In accordance with BOG 8.003 and UCF Policy 4-403, all faculty members must use Simple Syllabus to post their course section(s) syllabus 45 days before the term starts. For more information on Simple Syllabus, visit the Provost’s Syllabi page. A Simple Syllabus is required for each section of a combined course. There is no single Simple Syllabus for a combined course. Students can only see the syllabus for the section they are enrolled in. Required Academic Engagement. Ensure your Required Academic Engagement Activity is set up and active by the first week to comply with federal financial aid regulations. Need Help?
