Nov ’24 – Extra Credit in Webcourses@UCF

While Webcourses@UCF (Canvas) does not offer native extra credit functionality, awarding extra points can be achieved a variety of ways:

• Creating a Zero Point Assignment
• Adding Points to an Existing Assignment
• Adding Fudge Points to a Quiz
• Adding or Updating Rubric Criterion
• Creating an Extra Credit Assignment Group

However, please note that the method that works best for you may vary based on how your course and gradebook are configured (i.e. points vs. percentages).
