360° Instructional Content Creation – January 30, 2024

Are you looking for some new techniques to engage your students in asynchronous learning? Want to take your students on a virtual field trip? This 90-minute, interactive workshop will give you hands-on experience with the FMC’s 360 image and video gear, like the Insta360.

The hands-on portion of the workshop will be followed by a demonstration of creating a virtual tour in ThingLink. ThingLink is an interactive learning platform that UCF faculty can use in the FMC’s Post-Production Suite for their own content creation.

Due to the nature of this workshop’s content, you will be required to attend this workshop on-site at the FMC, located in Classroom Building I – Room 202. The FMC will provide the necessary cameras, stabilizers, and the ThingLink software to create the 360° content. The available dates and times for the workshop are listed below:

  • Tuesday, January 30, 2024 @ 10AM

“Question and Answer” sessions will follow each workshop. You are always welcome to schedule a General Appointment or visit us at the FMC afterwards for further assistance and guidance. You can also check out the FMC Training & Resources Webcourse for additional training guides and information on content production, DIY Captions, video editing, and more!
