Instructors will be able to share rubrics across courses within Canvas LMS. This includes the ability to export rubrics from one course to another and import rubrics from multiple courses into a selected course. The feature will improve the flexibility and efficiency of rubric management for instructors. Educators will be able to leverage a simple and familiar block editor interface to create content within Canvas Pages. An institution-wide media library will allow educators to store media in a central repository that is visible to all educators within the institution, making it easy to share resources across courses. By sharing video quizzes between Instructors, they will be able to reduce time and effort in video quiz creation. Students and Instructors have extended capability in the Canvas Mobile apps for Calendar. Improved UI for Grades screen on Canvas Mobile app. Canvas Mobile apps have functionally parity mailbox capabilities across mobile platforms (iOS and Android). The Institutional course recommendation feature will enhance the user experience by making it easier for learners to discover and enroll in additional relevant courses within the same institution. This will lead to increased course engagement and enrollment, helping institutions maximize the utilization of their course offerings while providing users with tailored learning pathways. The implementation of student self-assessment for assignments enables instructors to incorporate reflective learning into their courses, enhancing student engagement and understanding. Students engage in deeper, more meaningful discussion with classmates with clear checkpoints to guide their way. Improved parent app enables more natural usage of the same capabilities and further feature parity increase.
