Canvas Mobile Apps to Require Fresh Login

During the winter break, to ensure proper user account security, users will be logged out of Canvas Student and/or Canvas Teacher. Upon next access with the Canvas Student app or Canvas Teacher app, users will be required to enter their credentials and MFA to access Webcourses@UCF.

12/6/2023 – Calendar and New Quizzes

Calendar – Instructors can create and edit duplicate events for different sections of a course. This feature allows duplicating single events; not creating recurring events. New Quizzes – When a course with New Quizzes is copied, the item bank is automatically shared with the new course. View the Canvas Release Notes for more update details.

Faculty – Simple Syllabus Now in Webcourses!

Beginning Friday, November 24th for the Spring 2024 semester, faculty teaching a (black diamond) GEP Core course will be required to have their syllabus posted and marked for “General Public” visibility in Webcourses@UCF using Simple Syllabus. To help facilitate this change, the (black diamond) GEP Core courses will be auto-selected to be sent to Webcourses@UCF on Thursday, November 9th to provide faculty of these courses …
