The first course deletion cycle will occur on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026, and will include courses taught from Summer 2012 through Fall 2020. After this initial deletion, a rolling deletion cycle will occur at the end of each semester. Courses will be retained for six years and then removed from the system at the end of each semester, unless a retention request is submitted and approved. To see which courses are currently flagged for deletion, view the Course Deletion List: Summer 2012–Fall 2020. Faculty who wish to save course content before deletion may follow these steps: Export course content: UCF IT Knowledge Base article Download assignment submissions: Canvas guide Export grades from the Gradebook: Canvas guide To request that a course be retained, visit the Webcourses@UCF Course Retention and Deletion Guide and complete the Retention Request Form by Friday, November 20, 2026. Learn more by visiting the Webcourses@UCF Course Retention and Deletion Guide or contact Webcourses@UCF Support if you have questions or need assistance.
