UCF Apps

All UCF faculty and students now have access to many of the software applications required for coursework, at no additional out-of-pocket cost!

Students can use critical Windows applications such as SAS, SPSS, Microsoft Office, and ArcGIS anytime (24/7), anywhere (on or off campus), on just about any device they own!

The current application offerings are:

  • AMOS
  • ArcGIS
  • JMP Pro
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Word
  • Origin
  • SAS Base
  • SAS Enterprise Guide
  • SPSS

More applications will be added as they become available.

UCF Apps is a pilot project funded by the student technology fee and supported by contributions from UCF colleges and divisions.

UCF Apps Instructions for Students

UCF Apps is a service available to all students. Use MS Office, SPSS, and many other applications from your favorite device, whether you have a desktop, laptop, or tablet. As long as you have a good internet connection, you can access UCF Apps. UCF Apps is funded by the Technology Fee, so there is no additional cost for you to use this service.

  1. Visit https://ucfapps.cloud.com
  2. Enter your NID and NID password
  3. Install the Citrix Receiver client when prompted
  4. When the Citrix Receiver client finishes, add the applications you want from the list
  5. Start using your apps!

  1. Go to your device app store
  2. Search for, download, and install the free Citrix Receiver App
  3. Click add account, and fill out the prompts with the following information:
  4. Add SPSS and other applications you need
  5. Start using your apps!

Save Work on Knight Drive

For the best experience, save your work to the Knight Drive (K). The Knight Drive is networked file space that is available on every device on which you use UCF Apps, as well as the Library and other campus public lab spaces.
