Panopto Summer 2023 Training

For those of you who are thinking of using Panopto during the Summer 2023 semester, the Faculty Multimedia Center at UCF has 1-hour live/virtual orientations scheduled in early May.  Attending one of these orientations or completing the Panopto Essentials online course is required to use the Panopto platform here at UCF.  Both will move you through quickly and most instructors find these very much worth their time.

Just a few of the Panopto features you may be interested in are:

  • Detailed analytics on student usage of your videos.
  • Basic video editing and audio normalization.
  • Multi-language auto transcripts and editing.
  • Easy video assignments for your students that go directly to SpeedGrader.
  • Private video storage folders for each instructor.
  • Webcasting.
  • Video quizzes & more!

Panopto orientations for UCF instructors are scheduled in person at The Faculty Multimedia Center located in Classroom Building One – Room 202.  These will also be available “virtually” via Zoom.

Please be prompt as you must attend the entire hour to receive credit!  The orientation dates and times are:

Monday May 8th from noon to 1 PM

Wednesday May 10th from 9 AM to 10 AM

“Question and Answer” sessions will follow each orientation.  If you’d prefer to take the quick Panopto Essentials online course, you can register by clicking here.

Make sure you complete the Qualtrics form at the end of the course.
