Posted on October 23, 2023 by Elisabeth Greenwood9/16/2023 – Pages, Outcomes, Gradebook, and New Quizzes The September 16th Canvas update includes several new features worth sharing: 1. Pages – When you change the title to a page, all links to that page are automatically updated in the course 2. Outcomes – The Decaying Average calculation has been updated. The original Decaying Average calculation has been renamed Weighted Average. 3. Gradebook – You can now choose to have a point-based grading scheme and it can be of any number – I.e., 0-4 or 0-10. 4. New Quizzes – Instructors can allow students to build upon their last attempt of a quiz by reattempting incorrectly answered questions, allowing instructors to collect data on improved learning.
