Enabling Live Transcription in Zoom

Zoom’s live transcription feature will automatically provide captions during your Zoom meetings. Captioning and live-transcriptions is enabled by default in all UCF Zoom accounts. Hosts will still need to enable the live auto-transcription during the meeting.

While live transcription is not 100% accurate for accommodation purposes, it does provide fairly reliable captions and will make your meeting more accessible for all of your students. Student Accessibility Services will contact you when captioning as an accommodation is necessary for equal access.

Live Transcription and Breakout Rooms: Live transcription is not available in Breakout Rooms.
