Troubleshoot Panopto Access Issues


Most issues accessing Panopto from Webcourses@UCF are caused by web browser security settings. If you click Panopto Videos and see the following message, you will need to adjust your browser settings:

“Sign-in succeeded but your browser isn’t accepting cookies. Third-party cookies may be disabled. Enable third-party cookies for ucf.hosted.panopto.com in your browser, then refresh the page to continue.”

 

How to Enable Third-party Cookies

 

Safari OS X

  1. Click the Safari menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Select Always allow in the Cookies and website data.
  4. Reload the Panopto Videos page in Webcourses@UCF.

 

Google Chrome

  1. Enter chrome://settings/content in the URL bar and press Enter.
  2. Under Cookies, select Allow local data to be set.
  3. Deselect Block third-party cookies and site data.
  4. Click Done.
  5. Reload the Panopto Videos page in Webcourses@UCF.

 

Firefox

  1. Click the menu button in the upper right and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (OS X).
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Under History, select Remember history from the Firefox will: field.
  4. Reload the Panopto Videos page in Webcourses@UCF.

 

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the gear icon and select Internet options.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Click Default level.
  4. Select the Privacy tab.
  5. Click Default.
  6. Click Apply and reload the Panopto Videos page in Webcourses@UCF.
