Home » Get Support » Webcourses@UCF Support » Webcourses@UCF Guides » Twitter Twitter Add Twitter to your Course These instructions will show you how to integrate a Twitter stream into your online course. Click on the Settings tab in the course navigation menu. Click on the Apps tab. Locate the Twitter app. Click the Add App button. Once the app has been installed in your course, you can add the Twitter widget to any content page in the course. Create a new page or open an existing page in your course. Click the More External Tools button in the Rich Content Editor toolbar and click the Twitter option. You will be given three options in the popup window that appears: Hashtag: Displays Tweets based on a specific key term Username: Displays Tweets from a specified user Number of Tweets to Show: Changes the amount of Tweets shown in the widget Enter a keyword in the Hashtag or the Twitter Username fields. Click the Preview button to view the widget. If you are satisfied with your widget, click the Embed button. (Alternatively, you can also click the Modify button to edit the widget.) Your new Twitter widget will appear in the Rich Content Editor. Click the Save button. Editing the Twitter Widget Real-time Tweets will not appear in the Twitter widget when you edit the page. Tweets will only appear when you view the page.
