Both students and instructors have the option to attach a file to a Discussion reply. This is sometimes used in graded assignments or in group peer review activities.
Alternatively, users can also embed various file types as part of their discussion posting using the embed options in the toolbar at the top of the built-in Webcourses@UCF text editor.
Students Cannot Attach Files by Default: Instructors can enable the ability for students to attach files to discussions per course. It is up to the discretion of the instructor as to whether this setting is enabled or disabled. Please note that this is a global course setting and cannot be enabled per discussion.
