Back up Course Content

Back up Course Content

As the end of the semester approaches, backing up your course content is an integral part of wrapping up your course. While Webcourses@UCF will not remove or change course content after a course’s end date, it is important to export course content to maintain a backup for your records. Backing up a course is a simple procedure that doesn’t require more than a few minutes, depending on the size of the course.

Please note that course content does not include any student data, which includes, but is not limited to, discussion posts, assignment submissions, quiz attempts, and grades. However, you can choose to download assignment submissions or export the gradebook as a CSV file for your personal records. These steps are recommended, but not required as Webcourses@UCF will continue to retain all student data after a course’s conclusion.

Please view the Backing up Course Content tutorial below for a personalized step-by-step walkthrough of exporting course content.
