Sometimes, your browser security may block you from accessing Webcourses@UCF. To correct this problem, you will need to add Webcourses@UCF as a trusted site to your browser. The instructions for three major browsers are detailed on this page.
Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the Firefox Menu and select Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- In the first section click the Exceptions button.
- Type https://webcourses.ucf.edu
- Click Allow.
- Click Close.
- Click OK.
Chrome
- Click the Chrome Menu icon on the far right of the Address bar.
- Click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link.
- Click on Change proxy settings (under Network).
- Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
- Enter https://webcourses.ucf.edu, then click Add.
- Click Close > OK.
Safari
- Click the Safari option in the upper left-hand corner of your browser.
- Select Preferences
- Select the Websites tab
- Make sure the site you want to add is currently open in Safari. In the box, you will see the URL of the site you have open.
- Select the drop-down menu to the right of that website and choose Allow to allow pop-ups only at this site
