RealizeIt Instructor Toolbox Features

A dropdown list of available functions is also available for faculty. This allows an instructor to interact with students, record interventions, examine and grade student submissions and so on in one main location.

A list of all interventions recorded by the instructor will be displayed. A number of filtering options are available.

Bookmarks, Highlights, and Annotations

A record of these interactions created by the students will be available for the instructor to view.

Messages

The Messages area allows an instructor to view new incoming, received and sent messages for the section. Messages can be sent by clicking on the Send Message icon.

To keep all student communications in one place, we suggest that the instructor use the “Message Students Who” tool in Webcourses@UCF to communicate with students.

Grading

The instructor can review students’ latest grades and manually submit grades to Webcourses@UCF. However, at UCF, an automatic grading transfer operation is scheduled in all Realieit courses, we would suggest that the instructor communicate with their instructional designer before they manually submit grades.

The grade submission page provides a list of the students and their scores. If any scores have changed since the last submission a Submit button will be available. If due dates have been assigned for the objectives, then the scores at the due date deadline will be shown. A Show current values checkbox is available so that the due date values can be compared with current values. The Data to submit column is populated with any values that have changed and are available to be submitted (use with caution). A search field is available to allow instructors to filter the list to a specific student.
